TheJewelryOwl is a small online shop dedicated to selling handcrafted beaded jewelry and accessories.
My goal is to provide you with beautiful quality handmade jewelry at an affordable price. My designs are simple and while some have similarities, I pride myself in producing single or small quantities so every piece is special and not mass produced. I use an array of glass, ceramic, acrylic, Swarovski crystals, pearls and semi-precious gemstone beads in my jewelry making.
My Owl logo is my own personal design.

Hi my name is Maribel, and I am a self-taught jewelry designer.
Not having any formal education in the art of jewelry making, I turned to purchasing books on jewelry making and watching fellow artisan videos. It all started as a hobby, as a way to unwind after a stressful day in the corporate world.
Discovering the art of jewelry making has been an exciting journey for me and has now become a true passion. I am always looking to learn or practice a new technique with every piece I make.
I am a daughter, sister and a Mom to a fabulos Son. My family is everything to me. I am a very private person and to some degree an introvert. I have a deep love for animals and greatly miss my 2 beloved dogs that have passed on.
While I currently spend long hours at an office job, I aspire one day to be able to trade in my computer and spreadsheet for my true love of working with beads, crystals and gemstones.
